In the Junior room: Last minute Halloween preparations have been going on. Popcorn and Maltesers hands were made and on Thursday 24 October, they had a visit to the library. They visited as part of Meath Library Month. Apparently the author they met had pink hair (surely that can’t be true?!)
In the middle room: They have been gearing up for Halloween with lots of spooky poetry and ghoulish art. They’re also writing their own stories: check out Luke Byrne-Kelly’s (2nd class) super scary piece below
The Haunted House
It was dark, it was night. There was a grave-yard at the top of a hill and a house beside it. People thought it was haunted. They got over it. But it really was haunted. A man went over to the grave-yard on October31st, Halloween. The town heard screams. There were loads of stories. But this is what really happened: A zombie awoke and dragged him in the house. The man came across creepers, it was horrible. There were guts as well, cob-web with black widow spider, a dead man was on the wall. There was a coffin. The zombie put him in. Nobody goes it the grave-yard anymore. It was in the paper. He lit him on fire.
In the Senior room: We have been putting the finishing touches to our Bronze Age projects and Science experiments. Science notes have been distributed to all the pupils and Bronze Age projects from each class will be on display in the corridor if you would like to have a look at them. It has been a busy week!

Mad Scientists & Monsters
On Friday 25 October a day was enjoyed, as the children dressed as monsters and mad scientists, as they demonstrated their experiments. Everybody had a great day.
This Scientist had a happy birthday!
